S is for Staycation...

... Due in part to the fact that we are trying to save money and in part to the chance that we may be leaving Utah soon, Alma and I are learning to be tourists in our own state this summer. We've already been to Zion National Park, and we have another camping trip planned to Arches and Moab in a few weeks with some friends. Here are some other places we'd like to go:

Antelope Island and the Great Salt Lake
The BYU Bean Museum (in 5+ years at BYU, I've never been)
Capitol Reef National Park
Lavender Days Festival in Mona
Alpine Slide in Park City
Lake Powell
River Raft the Green River
Lagoon
Bryce Canyon
Canyonlands National Park

I don't know if we'll make it to all of them, but at least we'll have a fun summer trying!

You know, we thought that by living closer to family we would"save money", but we actually spend as much if not more. It is still pricey to explore things around you, but have fun. Excited to see you this weekend!
